The Rye RUMMMMMMMBLE was a rousing, raucous battle to the end!
It was so great to see everyone last night and share some good food and drink. I don’t know if it was louder than normal, but the energy was high and people came ready to rummmmble!! I kept asking people to repeat themselves because I couldn’t hear them even though they were right next to me. As my 15 year old son would say, the event was LIT, bruh. 
THANK YOU to Rodney Schifferer and Josh Tgod Taylor and Kurt Marten for donating bottles, Todd Hendrey for donating some Confectionery chocolate goodness, Mark Cerny and Sheila Mims for documenting the event in pics, Julia Oakley Komaniecki for bringing a few tasty bottles to share afterwards, and everyone who brought a snack/dish to pass. You all are what make this club special! 
Interestingly, the second place rye got more first place votes than the first place rye. We’ve actually seen this before in other blind battles. But, based on the scores, the top two were pretty even. The middle three were lumped together and the bottom two were well-and-truly the bottom two.
